Jackal Music NYC began as a labor of love for musicians, a contribution to the underground ecosystem in the form of dedicated journalism. We cut through the noise and pomp and circumstance, focusing instead on crafting thoughtful portraits of your favorite artists. To quote the Jackal Music Philosophy, “We live in a city with hundreds of artists who breathe life into sullen faces, a hearty sourdough feeding us down to our guts while the world sinks further, and they deserve more words than whatever haute couture circus has paid-or-played to receive your attention this week.”
